Caplan Cobb Hosts Annual Law Clerk Event
Every year, Caplan Cobb hosts a gathering for current federal and state law clerks in and around Atlanta, bringing together panelists from boutique law firms, large firms, and public-interest organizations to discuss their post-clerkship career paths. This year, we held the event at Wild Leap Brewery in downtown Atlanta.
This year's panel, moderated by Caplan Cobb associate Alex Estroff, featured Ellen Min of King & Spalding, Darrius Woods of the Southern Poverty Law Center, and Caplan Cobb attorneys Jarred Klorfein and Jessica Caleb. Their experiences reflect a cross-section of clerkships—Alex, Jessica, and Darrius clerked for judges on the Northern District of Georgia; Jarred clerked in the Southern District of Florida; Ellen clerked in the Southern District of Georgia; and Jessica also clerked for the Georgia Supreme Court. The panelists shared their experiences navigating the job market and their job search during and after their clerkships and discussed what post-clerkship life looks like across different practice settings.
