Caplan Cobb Successfully Defends $500,000 Judgment

Along with Bobby Lee Cook of Cook & Connelly in Summerville, Georgia, Caplan Cobb represented Teresa Graham, who was injured while shopping at a large retail superstore.  After Mr. Cook obtained a $500,000 default judgment, Mr. Cook retained Caplan Cobb to defend the judgment against collateral attack in the Superior Court of Gordon County as well as the United States Bankruptcy Court.  Mike Caplan and T. Brandon Waddell of Caplan Cobb handled the post-trial proceedings, which resulted in an agreement by the defendant to pay the full amount of the $500,000 judgment.
