Caplan Cobb is pleased to announce that James Cobb has been invited to become a Fellow of the American Bar Foundation. James is a founding partner of Caplan Cobb LLC whose practice focuses on complex business disputes, federal and state appeals, class actions, and constitutional and tort litigation.
Established in 1952, the American Bar Foundation (ABF) plays a pivotal role in advancing the understanding of the legal system and addressing key issues facing the legal profession. An invitation to become a Fellow of the ABF is a distinguished honor that recognizes an individual’s exceptional achievements, commitment to the highest standards of professionalism, and dedication to the ABF’s mission. The selection process begins with a peer nomination highlighting the nominee’s significant contributions to the legal profession, their community, and their commitment to advancing justice. No more than 1% of all lawyers may become a Fellow of the ABF.
Fellows may include legal scholars, judges, legal educators, and other professionals who represent diverse legal backgrounds. They actively participate in events, engage in research projects, and mentor emerging legal professionals, amplifying the impact of the ABF’s mission.
