Kayla Hardimon Butler is an associate at Caplan Cobb, where she focuses her practice on complex litigation in federal and state court. She has represented corporations and individuals in a variety of complex commercial, business, healthcare, and antitrust matters nationwide. 

Before joining Caplan Cobb, Kayla practiced at Cravath, Swaine & Moore LLP in New York and Alston & Bird LLP in Atlanta. She also served as a seconded attorney at a leading beverage company.

Kayla earned her J.D. with honors from Columbia Law School, where she was a James Kent Scholar and a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar and was awarded the Simon H. Rifkind Prize for Best Overall Performance in the First-Year Moot Court Program. She also served as Articles Editor for the Columbia Journal of Race and Law. 

Before law school, Kayla was a teacher and Teach for America Corps Member in Jacksonville, Florida. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Journalism from Ohio University.
