Cameron Roberts is a partner at Caplan Cobb, where he advises and represents companies, officers and directors, governments, and individuals in a wide array of litigation and appellate matters. His practice encompasses business litigation, focusing on disputes involving breaches of contract, fiduciary duties, fraud, and statutory violations. Cameron is also deeply involved in constitutional and public-interest litigation, where he advocates on behalf of clients facing issues of significant constitutional concern.

Before joining Caplan Cobb, Cameron honed his legal skills clerking for the Honorable Beverly B. Martin of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit and the Honorable J. Randal Hall of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Georgia. He also gained substantial experience practicing with Rogers & Hardin LLP. Cameron holds a J.D., cum laude, from the University of Georgia School of Law, where he distinguished himself as Editor-in-Chief of the Georgia Journal of International and Comparative Law.

Business Litigation

Cameron represents companies, their officers and directors, as well as individuals, in a wide range of business disputes, including breaches of contract, fiduciary duties, fraud, defamation, negligence, and statutory violations. His recent experience includes representing clients in disputes over the redemption of membership interests, attempted squeeze outs, and alleged antitrust violations.

Appeals

Cameron has significant appellate experience, representing companies, government entities, and individuals in appeals before federal and state appellate courts. His work has resulted in the affirmance of awards exceeding $70 million and the reversal of adverse judgments.

Constitutional and Public-Interest Litigation

Cameron is committed to constitutional and public-interest litigation. He has successfully secured preliminary and permanent injunctive relief in First Amendment cases and played a critical role in obtaining an injunction against the State of Georgia to prevent the execution of ten prisoners, resulting in significant recognition for Caplan Cobb.
